Every visit is different. These notes help you arrive prepared, while your care team will guide you through the steps that apply to you.
Appointments
Book online, by phone or WhatsApp. An appointment helps us plan specialist and diagnostic time for you; walk-ins may be accommodated when the schedule permits.
When booking, mention the main reason for your visit and any access or scheduling needs. If you need to change your plans, please let the clinic know.
Before your visit
Along with your records, bring any referral letter and a short note of what you would like to discuss. Include when a concern began and what seems to affect it, if you know.
If you wear contact lenses and are coming for a corneal or LASIK evaluation, ask the team when to switch to glasses. Follow the instructions given for your specific appointment.
Planning for dilating drops? They can temporarily blur near vision and make eyes more sensitive to light. Consider bringing sunglasses and arranging a companion or alternative transport; avoid driving while your vision is blurred.
Tests & diagnostics
Your doctor may recommend checks such as OCT, corneal topography or visual-field testing based on your symptoms and examination. The team can explain what a recommended test is for before it begins.
Some visits include additional tests, so allow flexibility in your day rather than planning around a fixed visit length. You do not need to arrange tests in advance unless the clinic asks you to.

Ask the clinic team about consultation or test charges before proceeding. Insurance, reimbursement and any cashless assistance depend on your policy and confirmation from the relevant parties.
If you plan to use insurance, contact the team ahead of your visit to ask what documents may be useful. Please confirm coverage directly with your insurer as well.

Before you leave, make sure you understand the next step and when to return. Ask for clarification if any instruction, test result or follow-up date is unclear.
Follow the instructions prescribed for you. If your symptoms change, you have a concern about your plan, or you are unsure what to do next, contact the clinic for guidance. Do not change prescribed medicines without speaking to your clinician.
